How do payments actually work?
50% deposit to begin, 50% on delivery. For projects above $2,000, I can split into 3 milestones (deposit, midway, delivery). Stripe links for credit card or e-transfer for Canadian clients. All invoices are itemized.
Can I get a refund if I'm not happy?
Deposits are non-refundable once work begins (since I've already invested time). However, if you're unhappy with a deliverable, the 2 revision rounds are there to make it right. I've never had a project end where the client didn't get what they paid for.
Is GST/HST included?
Prices shown are pre-tax. Canadian clients pay applicable provincial tax (HST in Ontario, GST elsewhere) on top. International clients are exempt — no tax added.
What if my project goes out of scope?
I'll flag scope changes the moment they come up. Nothing extra gets billed without a written approval. We agree on the new scope and price before any additional work happens.
Do you offer monthly retainers?
Yes — after we ship the first project. Retainers start at $600/mo for ongoing design + AI content support. We'll scope the right one once we've worked together once.
Can I pay over more than 2 installments?
Absolutely. Anything over $2,000 can be split into 3 or even 4 payments. Just mention it on our discovery call and we'll figure out a plan that works for your cash flow.
